(Spencer)– A weekend traffic stop resulted in traffic and drug charges against a Minnesota man.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy pulled over a vehicle Friday evening for a traffic violation.
Upon making contact with the driver, the deputy discovered an open can of beer.
Upon investigating, the deputy determined the driver, 47-year-old Mark Gruben of Freeborn, Minnesota, was intoxicated and placed under arrest.
A subsequent search of the vehicle turned up a quarter-of-an-ounce of what’s alleged to be marijuana along with drug paraphernalia.
Gruben was arrested and booked into the Clay county jail on charges of operating while intoxicated…first offense; speeding; open container; possession of a controlled substance-marijuana; and possession of drug paraphernalia.
