(Milford)– A senior from Okoboji High School has been selected to perform in the 2008 Iowa High School Music Association’s All-State Music Festival.
Katelyn Warburton, daughter of Joe and Diane Warburton, was selected to play bass clarinet in a concert the all-state orchestra will be putting on as part of the Iowa High School Music Association’s All-State Music Festival.
The concert, which will be open to the public, will be held at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, November 22nd at Hilton Coliseum in Ames.
Approximately 6,500 students from over 350 Iowa schools auditioned.
Students accepted to the All-State Music Festival represent the top 1.5 percent of Iowa high school musicians.
