(Undated)– Seven Spirit Lake High School students and five from Okoboji have been named to the Northwest Iowa High School Honor Band.
Members from Spirit Lake include Emily Smith on the flute; Lyndsey Kent and Lindsay Hamilton on clarinet; Mike Davis and Tanner Baldwin on trumpet; and Hayley Welch and Connor Rowley on trombone.
Members from Okoboji High School include Nicole Ballah and Callie Froendt on clarinet; Kris Kaufman on trumpet; and Lowen Gude and Mark Welle on tuba.
Auditions were held this past Saturday.
The Northwest Iowa Honor Band Concert will be held Saturday, January 10th at Eppley Auditorium at Morningside College in Sioux City.
