(Spencer)– Officials with Spencer Hospital say they couldn’t be happier with how their valet parking service is working.
Lee Palmer, Director of Plant Operations at Spencer Hospital, says the service parked nearly two thousand vehicles in October, setting a record. He says typically they park just under a thousand cars a month.
Palmer expects demand for the service will increase even more once winter weather hits.
The hospital offers the service weekdays from 5:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m., excluding holidays.
Spencer Hospital has five valets, one who works full-time; two part-time employees and two part-time valets employed through a temp agency.
