(Estherville)– The board of trustees of Iowa Lakes Community College Tuesday discussed two building projects.
Trustees approved a change order for the recently completed wrestling facility at the Estherville campus. Additional improvements were needed at a cost of 14,650-dollars. That was offset by another change order that saved the college more than 20-thousand dollars.
Delaine Hiney, Executive Director of Facilities Management, told the trustees proposed specifications for a second addition to the Wind Energy and Turbine Technology building at the Estherville campus will be ready at the trustees next meeting in December.
In other business, trustees approved an early retirement plan for employees nearing retirement age.
