(Adrian, Mn.)– A rollover Wednesday south of Adrian, Minnesota injured two people from northwest Iowa.
The Minnesota State Patrol says 37-year-old Michelle Walters of George was southbound on Highway 91 and was text messaging on a cell phone when she drifted onto the gravel shoulder. Authorities say Walters over-corrected, which caused the pickup she was driving to skid sideways. It went into the ditch and rolled.
Walters and a passenger, 12-year-old Kylie Walters…also of George…was taken to a Luverne, Minnesota hospital where they were treated for minor injuries.
Severe damage was reported to a 2003 Dodge Ram pickup.
The crash took place shortly before 5:00 p.m.
The State Patrol was assisted on the scene by the Nobles County Sheriff’s Office.
