November 22, 2014

(Brewster, Mn.)– A collision Tuesday on Highway 60 north of Brewster involving an S-U-V and a semi tractor/trailer injured two people.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 35-year-old Anne Wagner of Heron Lake was driving a 1997 Ford Explorer pulling a hay rack eastbound when she was rear-ended by a 2007 Volvo semi tractor/trailer driven by 63-year-old Henry Paulsen of Sheldon.

Wagner was taken to the Worthington hospital and was transferred to Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls with a possible head injury.

Henry sustained cuts to his hands and forehead but wasn’t taken to a hospital.

The 1997 Ford Explorer driven by Wagner and the hay rack it was pulling with 123 bales of straw on it were totaled; severe damage was reported to the semi tractor/trailer driven by Henry.

The collision took place shortly before 3:00 p.m.

The Minnesota State Patrol was assisted by the Jackson and Nobles County Sheriff’s Offices.
