(Worthington, Mn.)– A single-vehicle crash in Nobles county over the weekend injured a Windom man.
The Minnesota State Patrol says 66-year-old Donald Hoppe of Windom was driving a 1992 Ford pickup eastbound on Interstate 90 just west of Worthington when he spun out on the icy road. The pickup skidded into the north ditch where it struck a fence and pole.
Hoppe was taken to the Worthington hospital where he was treated for minor injuries and released.
The vehicle was totaled.
The Minnesota State Patrol was assisted on the scene by the Nobles County Sheriff’s Office.
The mishap took place shortly after 6:30 a.m. Saturday.
