(Spirit Lake)– A single-vehicle crash knocked out power for a short time this (Tuesday) afternoon to some residents on the east side of East Lake Okoboji.
Officials with Iowa Lakes Electric Cooperative say a vehicle collided with one of their utility boxes, knocking out a three-phase underground feeder from the Superior Substation.
The power outage affected an area from west of the substation to the developments on the east side of East Lake Okoboji.
Power was restored to the affected area a short time later…around 2:20 p.m.
