(Lake Park)– Things are slowly getting back to normal in Lake Park after a fire late last month that destroyed three downtown buildings and damaged the town’s post office.
Ben Reed, Lake Park’s Post Master, tells KUOO news the postal operations, which were temporarily moved to the American Legion building following the fire, have been moved back to the Post Office building.
Reed says box service is resuming today (Saturday, Jan. 10th) and that window service will resume Monday (Jan. 12th).
Reed thanks patrons for their patience and understanding.
