(Milford)– No injuries were reported in a vehicle fire over the weekend in Milford.
Milford Fire Chief Jim Carpenter says firefighters were called to 2904 Prairie Lane shortly before 9:00 a.m. Saturday and found a 2006 Chevrolet 1500 completely engulfed in the driveway.
Firefighters quickly put out the blaze, but the vehicle was declared a total loss with damage estimated at 16-thousand dollars.
Minor damage was also reported to some vinyl siding on a garage door.
There was no immediate word on a possible cause.
Firefighters were on the scene about an hour.
They were assisted by the Milford Police Department and the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office.
