(Spencer)– Officials with the Iowa Lakes Corridor Development Corporation are urging local businesses and industries to participate in an upcoming job fair.
Shawn Arneson, a spokesman for the Iowa Lakes Corridor Development Corporation, says the event will be held March 3rd from 3:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Clay County Regional Events Center in Spencer.
Arneson says there are still some businesses and industries in the corridor looking to hire.
In addition, Arneson says even those NOT looking at hiring right now are encouraged to attend. He says the event will give them a good pool of future job candidates.
In addition, Arneson says the job fair will offer some tools for those looking for a job. He says there will be several seminars covering things such as updating your resume and interviewing skills.

Arneson says the regional job fair is typically held in April or May, but they decided to move it to March this year due to the current climate.
