Osceola Co. Authorities Investigate Burglaries

November 22, 2014

(Sibley)– The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a couple of burglaries that were reported over the weekend…including one at a church.

Authorities say a small safe was taken from St. Andrews Catholic Church in Sibley where entry was gained by forcing open an inside door. It’s believed to have taken place late Sunday or early today (Monday).

The other burglary took place at a residence in Ocheyedan. A 28 volt Milwaukee tool set in a red canvass bag, an 18 volt Milwaukee drill, a Stanley Bosch finish nailer, a Porter Cable shingle gun and other tools were reported missing.

Anyone with information into either incident should contact the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office.
