(Armstrong)– A local city faces an administrative order from the Iowa Department of Natural Resources.
The city of Armstrong was ordered by the agency to obtain all the permits required prior to future construction and to pay a five thousand dollar penalty.
DNR officials say the order is a result of the city not applying for a construction permit prior to putting in a new water main.
The city says it’s appealing the order.
