(Ashton)– Two search warrants executed simultaneously Wednesday in Ashton resulted in two people being arrested on drug charges.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office says the searches took place at 410 Fourth Avenue and 418 Fourth Avenue in Ashton.
51-year-old Michael Kolbeck of Ashton was arrested in the search at 418 Frouth Avenue. He was charged with possession of a controlled substance…methamphetamine…second offense; possession of a controlled substance…marijuana…second offense; prohibited acts; and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Kolbeck was booked into the Osceola county jail on 9,500-dollars bond.
38-year-old David Buss of Ashton was arrested in the search at 410 Fourth Avenue. He was charged with possession of a controlled substance…marijuana; possession of a controlled substance…methamphetamine; possession of drug paraphernalia; and prohibited acts.
Buss was booked into the Osceola county jail on 6,500-dollars bond.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office was assisted in its investigation by the Iowa State Patrol, Iowa Department of Natural Resources and the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office.
