(Estherville)– Iowa Lakes Community College is looking for a new President.
Meeting this (Friday) afternoon in special session, the college’s board of trustees accepted the resignation of Doctor Harold Prior.
Prior’s resignation is effective at the end of his current contract on June 30th, 2009.
A news release issued late this (Friday) afternoon by college officials says Prior will continue to serve as President of the Iowa Wind Energy Association.
Neither college officials or Prior were available for comment late this (Friday) afternoon.
Prior has served as President of Iowa Lakes Community College since January 24th, 2006.
