(Spirit Lake)– A 74-year-old Spirit Lake man faces four felony charges in connection with a sexual abuse investigation.
Spirit Lake police say Jerry Wilson Moore was arrested Saturday following a joint investigation that also involved the Iowa Department of Human Services.
Police say subsequent interviews, an investigation, and a search warrant executed at Moore’s residence resulted in him being arrested on four counts of sexual abuse in the second degree. Each is a class “B” felony.
Moore was booked into the Dickinson county jail on a 100-thousand dollar bond.
Police say additional charges may be filed pending the outcome of their ongoing investigation.
The Spirit Lake Police Department was also assisted by the Dickinson County Attorney’s Office.
