(Spirit Lake)– Two people face charges in connection with an incident Tuesday evening in Spirit Lake.
Spirit Lake police say they received a report around 10:30 p.m. of two people who were allegedly intoxicated possibly tampering with a motor vehicle in the 500 block of 23rd Street. Police found the two suspects a short time later in the 1900 block of Erie Avenue.
Following a short investigation, the two suspects, identified as 23-year-old Annett Loerch and 21-year-old Eric Naragon, were arrested. Once at the jail it was discovered that Loerch was in possession of a green-leafy plant material alleged to be marijuana.
Loerch was charged with public intoxication…first offense; and possession of a controlled substance…marijuana.
Naragon was charged with public intoxication…first offense.
The two were booked into the Dickinson county jail.
