Crash On Hwy 60 In Jackson County Results In Minor Injuries

(Heron Lake, Mn.)– Minor injuries were reported in a two-vehicle collision Friday on Highway 60 at Heron Lake.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 22-year-old Tadese Solomon of Worthington lost control on a curve and collided with a vehicle that was parked on the shoulder of the road. It was being driven by 18-year-old Morgan Flatgard of Windom.

Solomon and Flatgard both sustained minor injuries but refused immediate treatment.

A 2000 Pontiac Grand Am driven by Solomon and a 1997 Hyundae Accent driven by Flatgard were both totaled.

The mishap took place shortly after 3:30 p.m.
