Car Vs Semi Collision Results In Minor Injuries (1)

(Brewster, Mn.)– A collision involving a car and a semi Tuesday on Highway 60 at Brewster sent one person to the hospital.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 45-year-old Mark Silvrants of Okabena was driving a 2001 Ford Taurus westbound wnd was turning left onto a county road when he collided with the rear axel of a 2001 Peterbuilt semi tractor driven by 36-year-old James Black of Odenton, Maryland.

Silvrants was taken to Sanford Hospital in Worthington where he was treated for neck and lower back pain and was released. No injuries were reported to Black.

Severe damage was reported to the car driven by Silvrants; minor damage was reported to the semi tractor and a 1977 utility trailer it was pulling.

The collision took place around 2:00 p.m. Tuesday.

The Minnesota State Patrol was assisted on the scene by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.
