Probation Check Results In Drug Discovery

(Ayrshire)– A check for two men wanted on probation violations Tuesday at a residence in Ayrshire resulted in authorities finding not only the men, but what’s alleged to be controlled substances and drug paraphernalia.

The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office says two deputies accompanied a probation officer with the Iowa Department of Corrections to 1303 Doon Street in Ayrshire where they found 19-year-old Brandon Priester of Ayrshire and 21-year-old William Bingen of Estherville. The two men were wanted for violating their probation after escaping the Iowa Department of Corrections Regional Treatment facility in Sheldon.

Authorities also found 19-year-old Michael Terveer of Ayrshire at the same residence.

During the investigation, a quantity of what’s alleged to be an illegal substance and drug paraphernalia were seized.

Bingen was transported to the Emmet county jail on the probation violation charge and will face new charges out of Palo Alto for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia at a later date.

Prister was booked into the Palo Alto county jail for the probation violation and new charges of possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.

Terveer was booked into the Palo Alto county jail for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.
