(Ruthven)– Someone’s been shooting at some wind turbines in the area.
The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office says it received a report around 12:30 p.m. back on February 23rd from Edison Energy regarding equipment and two turbine sites near Ruthven that had been damaged by vandals with firearms.
A dollar amount of damage wasn’t available.
It’s believed the incidents took place in the late afternoon of February 22nd.
The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance as it continues to investigate the matter. Anyone with information is asked to contact the office at (712) 852-3535.
