(Jackson County, MN)–At approximately 3:30 Friday afternoon the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call reporting a house fire at 79732 – 460th Avenue in Hunter Township. The home is owned by Melvin and Florence Oeltjenbruns. The Lakefield Fire Department responded and upon arrival found the home to be totally engulfed. After remaining on the scene for about 7 hours, a deceased body was found inside the home. Florence Oeltjenbruns, age 78, was identified. The fire remains under investigation by the Jackson County Sheriff;s Office and the State Fire Marshall’s Office.
