Stolen Wallingford Vehicle Found In Estherville

(Estherville, IA)–Early Sunday morning the Estherville Police Department spotted a reported stolen vehicle from Wallingford being driven and stopped the vehicle in the 200 block of South First Street in Estherville. Allan Schwidder, age 18, of Wallingford was placed under arrest for possession of stolen property. Upon further investigation, the Emmet County Sheriff’s Office and The Estherville Police Department found stolen property from an earlier rural residential burglery in northern Emmet County. Schwidder has been jailed and charged with two counts of 3rd degree burglary a class D felony and possession of stolen property a class D felony. A 17 year old male was also transported to the Emmet County Law Center and released to an adult.
