(Sibley)– A collision Thursday in Osceola county involving a pickup and a semi sent one person to the hospital.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office says 48-year-old Robert Johnson of Sheldon was driving a 1990 Volvo semi eastbound on 220th Street and collided with the semi in the intersection.
Hakeman was taken by ambulance to the Osceola Community Hospital in Sibley with what was described as non-incapacitating injuries.
10-thousand dollars in damage was estimated to the semi driven by Johnson and owned by Pete Klein Trucking, Incorporated of Rock Rapids. The pickup driven by Hakeman sustained an estimated four thousand dollars in damage.
Hakeman was cited for failure to obey a stop sign.
The collision took place shortly before 11:30 a.m.
