(Spencer)– The Clay County Fair is looking for people with a special talent that could be showcased on one of the free stages at this year’s fair.
Robyn Werk of the Clay County Fair Association says for the first time, the fair is opening up applications for the two free stages. She says applicants should demonstrate talent in entertaining and be comfortable performing before a large audience. Werk says the act must be family-oriented and appropriate for all ages. Each performer is request to submit a promotional packet with their application.
Applications and more information can be found on the Clay County Fair website, on the entertainment tab under free stage entertainment. Applications should be mailed by this coming June 15th. Werk says final scheduling could take until August and performers will be notified when they have been chosen.
