(Milford)– A two-vehicle collision this (Wednesday) morning at the intersection of 11th Street and “L” Avenue in Milford sent two people to the hospital with possible injuries.
Milford police say 17-year-old Eric Miller of Spirit Lake was westbound on 11th Street when he apparently failed to yield to a vehicle driven by 53-year-old Paula Thomsen of Milford who was southbound on “L” Avenue.
Miller was taken by ambulance to Lakes Regional Healthcare while Thomsen was taken by private vehicle. Both were checked for possible injuries.
Severe damage was reported to a 1992 Buick driven by Miller and to a 2004 Saturn driven by Thomsen.
Miller was cited for failure to yield.
The collision took place around 7:45 a.m.
