(Emmetsburg)– Four people face charges for allegedly dumping garbage in a pasture in Palo Alto county.
The Sheriff’s Office says it stems from a complaint it received shortly after 10:30 a.m. Tuesday of solid waste that had been dumped in a pasture in the 4300 block of 310th Street.
Following an investigation, deputies arrested 29-year-old Melissa Riehl, 19-year-old John Albert and 20-year-old Jonathon Lenz…all of Emmetsburg…and 24-year-old Shane Girres of Graettinger.
All four were charged with illegal dumping of solid waste. They were issued citations and released on a promise to appear in court at a later date.
