(Spirit Lake)– Spirit Lake letter carriers were among postal workers nationwide participating in this past Saturday’s “Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive”.
Ken Henderson of the Spirit Lake letter carriers tells KUOO news they collected some two thousand pounds of food that will be donated to the local food shelf at Upper Des Moines Opportunity in Spirit Lake.
Henderson thanks all who donated, along with the letter carriers, for their extra work.
