Court Of Appeals To Hear Cases In Lakes Area

(Okoboji)– The Iowa Court of Appeals will be making a stop in the lakes area next week.

It’s in association with the annual Lawyers Chautauqua that will be going on at Arrowwod Resort and Conference Center in Okoboji.

The Court of Appeals will hear oral arguments in two different sessions Wednesday, June 1st and Thursday, June 2nd.

The June 1st session will begin at 1:00 p.m. at the Dickinson county courthouse, at which time they’ll hear six cases from Butler, Cherokee, Plymouth, Webster and Woodbury counties.

The June 2nd session begins at 11:30 a.m. at Arrowwood Resort and Conference Center. The justices at that time will hear two cases, from Buchanan and Sioux counties.

The sessions are open to the public.
