(Graettinger)– Time is running out for those affected by severe weather last year looking to utilize case management services through Upper Des Moines Opportunity.
The agency announced Tuesday it will be closing out disaster case management services out of its Graettinger office effective June 1st.
Upper Des Moines Opportunity was selected by the Iowa Community Action Association to administer local case management services for people affected by disaster between June 1st and August 31st, 2010. The office covers Hamilton, Humboldt, O’Brien, Osceola, Webster and Wright counties.
Anyone in those counties with concerns or questions should contact UDMO at (712) 213-8478 by June 1st.
To date, Upper Des Moines Opportunity has assisted over 80 people with disaster recovery efforts.
38 counties are eligible for 2010 case management services. Locally, they include Cherokee, Kossuth, Lyon, O’Brien and Osceola counties.
