(Sibley)– A traffic stop last week in Osceola county resulted in the arrest of a Worthington man on who’s accused of using someone else’s identification to get a job.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy pulled over a vehicle on Highway 59 last Wednesday driven by 35-year-old Eleazar Arcos of Worthington. Upon further investigation it was discovered Arcos had been working at Raveling, Incorporated in Melvin since April 15th of last year by using someone else’s identity and social security number.
Arcos was arrested and charged with forgery and identity theft…both are class “D” felonies.
Arcos was also charged with driving without a license, failure to prove security against liability and operation without registration. He was booked into the Osceola county jail on a $10,900 cash bond and is being held on a detainer by Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
