(Estherville)– Ankeny-based Casey’s General Stores is purchasing 22 Kum ‘n Go stores in Iowa, including several in our area.
Locally, Casey’s is purchasing both Kum ‘n Go stores in Estherville, along with one in Armstrong.
Both Kum ‘n Go stores in Cherokee are also being acquired by Casey’s, along with two stores in Sheldon and one in Storm Lake.
Officials say the stores will be immediately re-branded once the transaction has been completed. That’s expected to take place next month.
Terms of the deal aren’t being made public.
The Kum ‘n Go stores in Spirit Lake and Okoboji are not included in the transaction.
