(Washington, D.C.)– An agency that provides Head Start programming to several northwest Iowa counties has been awarded a federal grant.
Upper Des Moines Opportunity in Graettinger will receive slightly more than 1.1 million dollars through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
UDMO is one of five Iowa agencies awarded grants totaling more than 7.4 million dollars to help fund Head Start programs.
