(Spirit Lake)– A Spirit Lake man faces charges for allegedly stealing a hand gun from a Spirit Lake business.
Spirit Lake police say they received a report Wednesday from Bam’d Sales regarding the theft of a Glock 27, Generation 4, .40 caliber handgun.
Upon investigating, police obtained and executed a search warrant on a residence at 414 Lake Street in Spirit Lake. Authorities recovered the gun as the result of the search.
21-year-old Adam Cart of Spirit Lake was arrested and charged with theft in the third degree…an aggravated misdemeanor, and public intoxication.
Cart was booked into the Dickinson county jail.
The Spirit Lake Police Department was assisted in the investigation by the HEAT Tactical Team.
