(Spirit Lake)– An organization that assists residents in Dickinson and Emmet counties with various disabilities has a new leader.
Amanda Brewer is the new Executive Director for Echo Plus of Spirit Lake and Estherville.
Brewer is a native of the LeMars area and worked the past nine years as Executive Director of Wesco Industries in Dennison…an organization somewhat similar to Echo Plus.
Brewer says she’s excited to be in her new job and is busy getting acquainted with the Estherville and Iowa Great Lakes areas.
Brewer says one of her priorities early on is to hire a maintenance person and a Human Resources Director.
She says Echo Plus continues to look for additional instructors as well.
