(Adrian, Mn.)– Minor injuries were reported in a single-vehicle mishap Saturday on Interstate 90 in Nobles county.
The Minnesota State Patrol says 48-year-old Matthew Norton of Irvine, California was driving a 2003 Land Rover westbound and was accelerating when the back end of the vehicle started to swerve. Troopers say the back end of the vehicle apparently broke loose when Norton applied the brakes. The vehicle ran off the road, collided with a guard rail, and rolled.
No injuries were reported to Norton. A passenger, 48-year-old Susan Norton of Irvine, California, was taken to Sanford Hospital in Worthington where she was treated for a minor injury and released.
Severe damage was reported to the vehicle.
The incident took place around 3:30 p.m. Saturday.
The Minnesota State Patrol was assisted on the scene by the Nobles County Sheriff’s Office.
