(Spencer)– Another major act will be performing at this year’s Clay County Fair.
Rock and Roll legend Johnny Rivers will be the featured grandstand entertainment Tuesday, September 13th at 7:30 p.m.
Rivers has sold more than 30 million copies and made his place in rock ‘n roll history. The singer, songwriter, guitarist and record producer originally found his success in the 1960’s.
Rivers has had nine top 10 hits along with 17 other songs that made the top 40 charts during his career.
Joining Rivers will be special Sonny Geraci who’s top 40 hits include “Time Won’t Let Me”, “Respectable”, “Girl In Love”, “Help Me Girl” and with the group Climax had his biggest hit song “Precious and Few”.
2011 Clay County Fair grandstand tickets go on sale Wednesday, June 22nd at 5:00 p.m. for online and mail orders.
