(Dickens)– A weekend house explosion in the Dickens area that injured two people remains under investigation.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called to the scene at 2840 290th Street around 2:45 p.m. Saturday.
Two people who were in the house at the time were treated on the scene by Spencer Hospital paramedics. They were then life-flighted to the Nebraska Medical Center Burn Unit in Omaha.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on the scene by the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office, the Iowa State Patrol, Iowa State Fire Marshal’s Office, Spencer Hospital paramedics, Terril Fire and Rescue and Fostoria Fire and Rescue.
