(Storm Lake)– A suspect wanted by Storm Lake police for harboring a runaway was arrested Monday in Spencer.
Storm Lake police say they received a report back on March 20th of a 16-year-old female runaway from Storm Lake.
Police allege 18-year-old Alex Case of Storm Lake assisted the runaway girl when he took her to Rapid City, South Dakota where they boarded a bus to Billings, Montana. Officers traced the movements of Case and the runaway and when the bus arrived in Billings, police took the runaway girl into custody.
Case was charged with harboring a runaway, an aggravated misdemeanor. He was booked into jail on a $2,000 bond.
