(Emmetsburg)– A traffic stop Thursday in Palo Alto county resulted in the arrest of an Armstrong man on drug charges.
The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy pulled over a vehicle around 2:30 p.m. on County Road N-26. A subsequent search of the vehicle turned up what’s alleged to be a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.
51-year-old Loretta Strong of Armstrong was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance…marijuana…a serious misdemeanor; and possession of drug paraphernalia…a simple misdemeanor.
Strong was released on a citation and promise to appear in court at a later date.
The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office K-9 assisted at the scene.
