(Peterson)– A motorcycle-deer collision last (Sun.) evening in Clay county sent one person to the hospital.
The Iowa State Patrol says 23-year-old Jayden Kracht of Peterson was driving a 1999 Triumph which collided with a deer. Troopers say Kracht was westbound at the time about a half mile west of Peterson on Highway 10.
Kracht was taken by ambulance to Buena Vista Regional Medical Center in Storm Lake. There was no information on the extent or nature of his injuries or his condition.
A damage estimate to the motorcycle also wasn’t immediately available.
The collision took place shortly before 9:00 p.m.
The Iowa State Patrol was assisted on the scene by the Clay County Sheriff’s Office and the Peterson Ambulance.
