(Lakefield, Mn.)– A single-vehicle crash Tuesday in Jackson county claimed the life of a Lakefield man.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office says 46-year-old James Brewer was westbound on County Road 14 about eight miles west of Lakefield when he lost control of a 1999 Chevrolet Blazer. The vehicle went into the south ditch and hit an embankment.
Brewer was pronounced dead at the scene.
The vehicle was totaled.
The crash took place around 7:20 a.m.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Okabena Fire Department, Lakefield ambulance and the Minnesota State Patrol.
