(Sibley)– A two-vehicle collision Monday on Highway 60 near 210th Street in Osceola county resulted in minor injuries.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office says 23-year-old Joshua Jurrens of Sibley was driving a 2002 Saturn northbound on Highway 60 and 34-year-old Atalo Hernandez-Arroyo of Sibley was driving a 2001 Dodge Dakota eastbound on 210th Street and had stopped at the intersection. Deputies say Hernandez-Arroyo then pulled into the path of the vehicle driven by Jurrens.
Jurrens sustained possible injuries but declined immediate treatment. No injuries were reported to Hernandez-Arroyo.
Hernandez-Arroyo was cited for failure to have a valid driver’s license and failure to yield upon entering a through highway. Jurrens was cited for failure to prove security against liability.
$10,000 in damage was estimated to the vehicle driven by Jurrens; $8,000 in damage was estimated to the pickup driven by Hernandez-Arroyo.
The collision took place shortly before 7:00 a.m.
