(Algona)– An Algona man has announced he’s running for the Iowa Senate.
Bob Jennings is seeking the District Four seat in the Iowa Senate, which includes Emmet, Hancock, Kossuth, Winnebago and Wright counties.
Jennings works for Algona Municipal Utilities as Information Director and is a former News Director with KLGA in Algona. He is currently a member of the Iowa Lakes Community College board of trustees and serves on several committees for the Kossuth County Economic Development Corporation.
Jennings says he’ll give middle class Iowans a voice in the legislature and will work to ensure Iowans have access to quality education.
Jennings will run as a Democrat in the November, 2012 election.
