(Undated)– Area residents lined Highways nine and 71 through Spirit Lake and the lakes area this (Mon.) morning as a caravan of chartered buses carrying soldiers returning from Afghanistan made its way through the region.
After making its way through Spirit Lake, the caravan proceeded south on Highway 71 through Okoboji, Arnolds Park, Milford, Fostoria and Spencer, enroute to Storm Lake where a formal ceremony was scheduled for this (Mon.) afternoon.
