Authorities in Spencer say a bar fight resulted in a man being transported to Spencer Municipal Hospital and then taken flight for life to a Sioux Falls Hospital. The Spencer Police responded to a call Saturday night just before midnight in the 200 block of Grand Avenue where they found Jefferson Wilbur, age 44 lying in an alley. Spencer Chief of Police Mark Lawson says his injuries may be life-threatening. 22 year old Chase Foote of Spencer was taken into custody in connection with the incident and charged with willful injury and booked into the Clay County Jail.
