(Estherville)– Bank Plus of Estherville announced today (Tues.) it’s purchasing the State Bank Of Ledyard.
Bank Plus President and CEO John Folsom says the sale is expected to close prior to the end of the year and is subject to regulatory approval.
Folsom says both banks have had a history of being locally owned and have served the financial needs of their community and surrounding area for many years. He says the combination of both banks will enhance their ability to continue to serve present and future customers.
The two banks will have combined assets of $115 million with offices in Estherville, Graettinger, Swea City and Ledyard.
