Everly –
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says an Everly man was killed in a tractor accident on Friday. Officers pronounced 63 year old Timothy Galm dead at the scene at about 6:30 in the evening.
Officers determined that Galm had started his Farmall 460 tractor from a standing position inside of the right rear tractor tire. The tractor was evidently in reverse gear. The tractor apparently knocked Galm over and ran over him, causing the tragic death.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Everly Fire and Rescue, Spencer Ambulance and the Clay County Medical Examiner.
