(Spirit Lake)—A complaint of domestic abuse has landed a Milford man in jail on several charges.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office says the alleged incident took place back on January 31st at a residence in the 2000 block of 220th Street of rural Milford.
Authorities say an investigation into the incident resulted in warrants being issued for 28-year-old Nathaniel Stoever of Milford. He was taken into custody this past Thursday on the warrants charging him with domestic abuse assault…2nd offense…and obstruction of emergency communications.
An additional charge of felon in possession of a firearm was filed against Stoever at the time of his arrest.
Stoever was booked into the Dickinson county jail on $7,000 bond.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office was assisted in the investigation by the Woodbury County Sheriff’s Office.
